What is this course?

Learners will be made aware of the do's and don'ts of working at height, including ladder and scaffolding safety, slips, trips and falls, and how to spot hazards that could lead to an incident when working at height.

FAQs

Is there a minimum age to attend?

Yes, delegates must be at least 17 years old. There is no maximum age.

What PPE do I need to bring?

A hi-vis vest or jacket, a hard hat/safety helmet, and safety boots.

What happens if I don't pass?

Delegates must pass both the practical assessment and score a minimum weighted score of 18 on the 12-question written test. There is no resit policy — if certification lapses, the full course must be retaken.

How long does the certificate last?

5 years.

How many people can attend per session?

A maximum of 6 delegates.
