NRSWA Training and Assessment

Streetworks training is compulsory for any person working on or adjacent to the public highways, and is the legal route to achieving essential qualifications – which often must be renewed every five years.

Selecting the right New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) assessment course or combination of courses to enable operatives and supervisors to work safely and effectively on public highways is straight forward with Ajs training.

HAUC Requirements:

Every candidate must be able to have good English Reading and Writing skills

Theory exams are completed under exam conditions and interpreters and support cannot be given

Unfortunately those with Dyslexia will also be unable to attend if the severity prevents them from being able to successfully navigate the large array of documentation they will need to familiarise themselves with to be able to successfully complete the theory exams in the allotted time

If you wish to challenge this ruling, please contact HAUC directly

Ajs Training have a Equality and Diversity Policy to enable support for people with special requirements, but in this instance HAUC rules regarding Assessment does not allow us to fully implement our policy for safety reasons.
