A specially designed Emergency First Aid course providing a general overview of first aid by teaching you how to think and react in an emergency until medical help arrives.
Duration a 1-day course.
During which learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and major bleeding, spinal injuries, crush injuries and more.
This qualification meets the recommendations of the Emergency First Aid at Work and also confirms a learner’s ability to meet a ‘licence to practice’ as determined by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Upon Completion Candidates will receive QA Level 2 EFAW + Certification.
This qualification is valid for 3 years and meets HSE requirements.
