EUSR: Locate Utility Services Safely (HSG47)

What is this course?

This course is designed for those who need to identify and locate underground utility services safely before any excavation work begins. Delegates are trained in how to correctly use a CAT and Genny to locate buried services, using recognised and approved detection methods to help prevent service strikes and support safer planning on site.

Do I need previous experience to attend?

No formal prior qualifications are needed, though you should be entering, or already working in, construction, civils, or excavation work.

How long does the qualification last?

3 years — after that, the full course needs to be retaken to renew.

Can this be delivered at our own site?

Yes, anywhere in the UK or Ireland, as long as the site meets the course requirements — as well as at AJ's centres in Sussex, North Lincolnshire, and South Wales.
